Dust Poem is an ongoing series of sculptural assemblages composed of remnants that persist after something or someone has disappeared. Fly ash from power plants, ash from wood fires, fragments of clothing, handwoven elements and loose threads are bound with cement. These silent traces mark moments in which an ending and a beginning overlap. The works linger with what remains, in a present that resists definitive closure.
